Fosamax as a Treatment for Cancer Patients

Fosamax, which is widely prescribed to cancer patients to prevent bone loss, has recently been linked with dangerous side effects such as Osteonecrosis of the jaw.

Patients taking Fosamax to prevent bone loss need to pay attention to the warning signs of this serious condition.

Symptoms of ONJ (Dead Jaw) include jaw pain or inflammation, gums that don’t heal, loosening teeth, or a feeling of numbness or heaviness in the jaw.

A class-action lawsuit was recently filed against Merck on behalf of individuals who have been hurt by the Fosamax drug.
