Recovering from Fosamax injury: Osteotomy
An Osteotomy operation may be required if you have developed osteonecrosis of
the jaw, which has been found to develop in those who take Fosamax.
An
osteotomy is a surgical operation whereby a bone is cut to shorten, lengthen, or
change its alignment.
It is sometimes performed on a hallux valgus, or to
straighten a bone that has healed crookedly following a fracture. It is also
used to correct a coxa vara, genu valgum, and genu varus.
Osteotomy
surgery can be used to treat osteonecrosis.
If you required an Osteotomy
operation due to injuries you suffered from using Fosamax, you may be entitled
to compensation.
