Find out if the Hydroxycut product that caused your injury is on this list of product codes

If you have consumed any of these products, fill out the form below and a Weitz & Luxenberg representative will contact you about your course of legal action.

Iovate initiated the voluntary recall when it became aware that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s assessment of 23 reports about consumers having experienced liver-related problems, as well as a small number of published case reports, was different from Iovate’s analysis.

The number of adverse event reports described by the FDA is small relative to the many millions of people who have used Hydroxycut products over the 7 years referenced by the FDA. Nevertheless, on May 1, 2009, the FDA issued an advisory stating, “Although the liver damage appears to be relatively rare, FDA believes consumers should not be exposed to unnecessary risk.” At that point Iovate consented to a recall under the FDA's advice that Hydroxycut presented a realistic risk of liver toxicity to consumers.

Hydroxycut products marketed for weight-loss, as fat burners, as energy-enhancers, as low carb diet aids, and for water loss have caused serious injuries. If you believe you've been hurt or made ill by Hydroxycut, a drug lawyer can help. Please complete the form on this page to get a free lawsuit review. A representative of our firm will be in touch shortly. All conversation will be treated as confidential.
