Concern is escalating over the terrible odor that is keeping people from enjoying daily life in communities located near waste disposal facilities.
The Environmental Protection Agency has linked the foul air to increased activity at the landfills.
“It’s outrageous that people living and working around this landfill for years have been and are still being exposed to noxious odors by the operators of this landfill,” stated Robin Greenwald, Head of the firm’s Environmental Toxic Torts Unit of Weitz & Luxenberg, P.C.
The smell is said to be caused by aluminum dross/saltcake.
