Lockwood, MT Residents: What You Must Know About Local Environmental Threats
The EPA has recently performed a 2nd round of tests on contaminated groundwater in the Lockwood region of Billings, MT. The contaminated area is known as the Billings PCE site.
The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has said that groundwater beneath about 500 acres has been contaminated with PCE, a solvent commonly used in dry cleaning and other industrial operations.
High exposure to PCE can lead to a variety of health problems, including liver, lung and nervous system ailments.
