WPBF.com has reported that the Indian Trail Improvement District gauged public interest in tapping into public water during a meeting on September 2, 2009 at Seminole Ridge Community High School.
In that gathering, some neighbors favored keeping the existing well system in the Acreage, while others looked to other options.
WPBF reported that one resident at the meeting has a son who has already endured three brain cancer surgeries. He isn't alone in his concern that the water may be to blame.
The Department of Health has determined a Level II cancer cluster investigation will begin promptly.
