Maine Drunk Driving Laws & Issues 2003
Maine Drunk Driving laws are strict. Maine does have administrative license revocation for drunk drivers, which means the state has the ability to revoke the drivers license for a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). The Zero Tolerance alcohol limit for drivers under 21 is 0.02 BAC. Maine does have graduated licensing. Maine does not qualify for the Section 410 incentive grant program.

- (Secondary) All seats for occupants of motor vehicles - $25 to $50 Fine
- Restraint required < 4 years old - $60 Fine
- 10/07/67 Repealed effective 10-24-77. Amended effective 7-3-80 to require use by riders under 15 years old, novices, and holders of learner?s permits.
