The case now before the Supreme Court of Wisconsin involves an infant who reportedly died due to the negligence of a physician, a first-year unlicensed resident. The cause of death, The Sentinel reported, was a combination of asphyxia due to cord entrapment and placental abruption, which impaired oxygen supply.
