Montana Physician Settles Malpractice Cases--free case review via the form below
In June 2008, a physician who operated a pain clinic in Montana settled three medical malpractice cases involving his practice.
The suits alleged that the doctor's treatment was negligent. Two cases claimed the doctor prescribed pain medications in dangerous and potentially lethal dosages. The third case claimed the doctor failed to properly treat a man who developed an infection from a pain medication pump that had been implanted in his abdomen.
The doctor, who was reported to have been licensed to practice medicine in Montana since 1994, operated his pain control clinic until 2006, when the clinic was closed.
