West Virginia hospital agreed to settle more than a hundred malpractice cases against physician

A hospital has agreed to settle more than a hundred malpractice cases brought against a physician.

A hospital in West Virginia agreed to settle at least 105 of the 124 suits involving the physician. The sizes of those settlements have been kept confidential except for 13 cases involving individuals under 18. Those cases were settled for a total of $12.3 million.

Most of those 124 original lawsuits are still pending against the physician himself.
