State board’s complaint against physician notes malpractice and unsafe

The Charleston Gazette reports that a Board complaint against a physician
cited malpractice suits filed against the physician and other unsafe acts by the
physician
The physician overdosed a patient with Phenergan and Valium, as he was
cutting and draining an abscess.
According to the Board, the sedation of the patient was not for a legitimate
medical purpose because it was unsafe and unnecessary.
