A new medical malpractice suit alleges that a hospital in Texas negligently failed to put fall precautions in place for a seizure patient, according to the Southeast Texas Record on May 27, 2008.
The plaintiff in the suit was being treated at the hospital on Aug. 31, 2006,
for a seizure disorder when she fell and broke her hip.
The family has
come forward to shed light on the negligent care she received and to seek
compensation for the injury that resulted.
