Columbia University in New York City and the pharmaceutical companies Schering-Plough and Celgene Corporation are currently conducting a clinical trial of Azacitidine in combination with Temozolomide in patients with mesothelioma or soft tissue sarcoma.
The Phase I study will evaluate the combined drug treatment to determine dosing limits and the effects of the two drugs for the treatment of mesothelioma and sarcoma.
