Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and the National Cancer Institute are currently seeking patients diagnosed with mesothelioma or other cancers to participate in a clinical study of the effects of ionizing radiation on tumor cells.
The study will require the surgical removal of tumors in order to study endothelium tissue to see how the tumor blood vessels respond to the effects of radiation therapy.
