March, 2008 -- Scientists have produced a mouse model for human malignant mesothelioma that will provide valuable information to cancer development and progression along with new directions for designing of therapeutic strategies.

The research, published by Cell Press in the March issue of Cancer Cell, could eventually lead to an improved outlook for patients with this grave disease.
