The Times Herald has reported on the case of a former naval shipyard worker who has been diagnosed with mesothelioma. The worker was employed by a naval shipyard in the 1970s. He was diagnosed with mesothelioma in 2008.
It is believed that his asbestos exposure occurred in the various jobs he held throughout his career. Thankfully, despite his mesothelioma diagnosis, his health is still relatively well. Sadly, however, he is not expected to live much longer.
