In recent news about the dangers of asbestos, a man given just months to live has vowed to carry on his fight for compensation after being struck down with the asbestos-related cancer mesothelioma.
The man was diagnosed with pleural plaques in 2000 and was left devastated earlier this year when doctors confirmed he had developed the asbestos cancer malignant mesothelioma.

He worked as an insulation engineer, as did his father, who died of mesothelioma 12 years ago. He'd worked in the industry too and he was 69 when he died.
