A former worker in Australia is worried his fellow employees are not being protected against the carcinogen asbestos, reported the Centralian Advocate on June 24, 2008.
The man resigned last month from the factory because he believed workers
were not protected properly when they handled a substance believed to contain
asbestos.
He said workers were given face masks, garden gloves, and
protective glasses but maintained it was not adequate protection.
