Florida boiler mechanic files lawsuit for mesothelioma diagnosis. Alleges occupational exposure the cause.
A Florida boiler mechanic diagnosed with mesothelioma filed an asbestos lawsuit, reported the St. Clair Record on April 29, 2008.
According to this news report, the man worked as a boiler mechanic from 1948
to 1987 in various places across the U.S.
He says that he was exposed to
the carcinogenic asbestos fibers
during in his workplaces and during home and automotive repairs.
The
lawsuit claims that the defendants involved should have known the asbestos fibers contained in their products had
a toxic, poisonous and highly deleterious effect upon the health of
people.
The man is seeking damages to help pay for the cost of his mesothelioma treatment.
