A man who recently died of mesothelioma was one of many carpenters who was exposed to asbestos while working at a power station in England, according to the Lynn News on July 1, 2008.

The 86-year-old man died from pneumonia due to mesothelioma cancer, the report said.

The man worked for a generating station, as a maintenance carpenter, from 1955 until 1981.

According to the newspaper article, in those years, he was exposed to both white and blue asbestos.

His work included removing boards, dealing with asbestos lagging around pipes and cutting asbestos.
