Lawsuit: Woman says her mesothelioma diagnosis a result of father's work with asbestos products
A local woman claims her father's work with asbestos products exposed her to its fibers. She says she has been diagnosed with mesothelioma as a result, according to the Southeast Texas Record. on June 14, 2008.
In response, the woman has brought a lawsuit against several businesses,
including shipyards, where she says
her father had occupational exposure to the carcinogen asbestos.
For over
two decades, our firm has handled some of the most legally complicated and
groundbreaking litigation.
Such intricate cases have often involved
people who developed mesothelioma through second-hand exposure. This includes
those who came in contact with asbestos fibers while washing the clothes of
someone who worked with it. Such very specialized lawsuits can be immensely
difficult to prove, yet Weitz & Luxenberg consistently prevails
despite many obstacles.
