Nursing Home Negligence Press Release
Is someone you love the victim of nursing home negligence? Answer these three questions to find out more or continue on to our extensive Nursing Home Abuse Information Center.
Question 1: Is someone you love in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or receiving home care?
Abuse and neglect can occur in any situation where a loved one is dependent on others for assistance with the activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, transferring from bed to chair, and using the toilet.
Question 2: Do you feel your loved one might be the victim of nursing home neglect, abuse, or negligence?
If you've noticed unexplained marks or bruising, severe bedsores, lethargy, illness, infection, malaise or other injuries or behavioral changes in your loved one, they may be the victim of abuse or neglect.
Question 3: Do you have documentation of your loved one's injuries?
If possible, try to make your own copies of your loved one's medical records. If you have reason to suspect someone has been falsifying records, indicate where and why you think this has happened. If you feel your loved one has been the victim of verbal abuse, try to write down specific dates, times, and places where you suspect the abuse has occurred, and include any names of people who either witnessed or perpetrated the abuse.
If you answered 'yes' to all of these questions, please fill out our simple Negligence form. A Client Relations Representative will contact you shortly to discuss your potential case. If you didn't answer yes to these questions, but would still like to discuss your potential case, feel free to fill out the form below.
