OSHA Offers Free Download of Asbestos Advisor 2.0: Interactive Tool for Contractors
The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) offers an interactive compliance assistance tool for contractors called “Asbestos Advisor.” Once this free program is downloaded and launched, it will ask the user interactive questions about buildings, worksites and the kinds of jobs workers will perform at a site where asbestos materials are present.
After the user provides answers to the questions, the program will generate information on OSHA asbestos standards applicable for the job.
