Do you wear contact lenses? Learn about the dangers of ReNu cleaning solutions

People wear contact lenses for vision correction or to enhance their eye color.

The popular ReNu with MoistureLoc and MultiPlus lens solutions have been linked with a serious eye infection (Fusarium Keratitis), and lens wearers have been advised to discontinue use of these products immediately.

Bausch and Lomb announced a link between the formulation of the MoistureLoc solution and increased number of fungal eye infections.

In some cases, a corneal transplant is the only means of correction due to the serverity of the infection.
