Seroquel Overdose
Please note: Weitz & Luxenberg is providing information about Seroquel and a number of physical and mental health-related side effects that may have been linked to the use, abuse or overdose of Seroquel. However, the firm is only considering cases in which a child or adolescent was prescribed Seroquel and developed diabetes.
An overdose can occur when taking too much of your prescribed medication or taking your medications too closely together.
Also, if your doctor prescribes an overabundant amount of the drug, you may be at a higher risk for overdose as well as diabetes, hypoglycemia, and pancreatitis.
In emergency situations where an overdose on Seroquel may have occurred, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.
