Seroquel Addiction

Some users of Seroquel report that they have formed an addiction to the drug.

A common Seroquel addiction stems from the sedative effect of the drug, when used to treat sleeping disorders. Users have complained that they cannot sleep after they are taken off the drug.

THE NUMBERS
It's estimated that between 60 and 70 million people suffer from insomnia in one form or another, either occasionally or for years at a time, and these people are spending billions of dollars on prescription medications and even more on over-the-counter remedies. (sleepdisorders.about.com)

Seroquel medical questions should only be answered by a doctor or other health care professional.
