Seroquel - an Off-Label Anxiety Treatment

Seroquel is being prescribed off-label to treat Anxiety disorders in patients. The sedation effect of the drug puts the user into a drowsy state that helps control their anxiety.

Seroquel is prescribed to treat the negative emotions of anxiety that includes fear, apprehension and worry.

In an anxiety attack, this is accompanied by physical sensations such as palpitations, nausea, chest pain and/or shortness of breath.

A chronically recurring case of anxiety that has a serious effect on a person's life may be clinically diagnosed as an anxiety disorder. The most common are generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Weitz & Luxenberg is no longer accepting Seroquel cases.
