Weitz & Luxenberg is no longer accepting Stryker Hip Implant Cases
Thousands of implant patients with squeaky and defective Stryker implants
bring lawsuits
Many patients and their surgeons fear that their squeaky Stryker ceramic hips may signal that the joints
are wearing out prematurely and are defective, reported the New York
Times on May 11, 2008.
The article goes on to say that dozens of patients have endured subsequent
surgeries to replace their noisy implants.
Many have now opted to sue
Stryker for their hardship. Some doctors have suggested that Stryker has been
slow to take their patients' concerns seriously.
The Times report
also points out that some surgeons fear that the ceramic material might shatter
at some point inside the patient.
