On January 15, 2008, the global news network CNN reported on the release of
the FDA’s warning letter to Stryker Corporation regarding Stryker’s failures to
adequately respond to the FDA’s concerns regarding problems with its hip
implants.
The warning letter stemmed from an FDA’s inspection of Stryker Corporation’s
Mahwah, New Jersey plant, which manufactures hip implants and implant
components.
