Wesley King, Esq., serves in our Los Angeles office as an associate attorney within the asbestos-cancer litigation unit. He joined Weitz & Luxenberg in 2012. In the preceding year, he was admitted to practice law in California. Also in 2011, he obtained a juris doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he had been a member of the Honors Trial Advocacy Team and both a fellow in and board member of the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law honors society. While at that school, he received from the Lesbian and Gay Lawyers Association of Los Angeles the Donald Snow Scholarship in recognition of his academic achievements and commitment to the ideals of diversity. He arrived at Pepperdine after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business administration (with a concentration in financial management and a minor in real-property development) from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo. Currently, Mr. King belongs to several important Southern California law-related organizations: the bar associations of Los Angeles County, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, and he serves as treasurer of the Lesbian and Gay Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
