Thomas M. Comerford

Associate Attorney

The practice of law in the context of mass-tort litigation is, in practical reality, a dynamic, communal activity, and necessarily so, for the needs of our clients demand a law firm capable of highly focused, precise, and timely legal work to right the devastating wrongs they have experienced at the hands of those interests responsible. Weitz & Luxenberg has assembled a uniquely effective, collegial, litigation team that is equipped to provide meaningful help to our clients and their families who demand justice. I am honored to have a hand in it.

Thomas M. Comerford joined Weitz & Luxenberg in 2001 as an associate attorney in our Asbestos Litigation group. Before coming to the firm, he clerked in the chambers of the Hon. Burrell Ives Humphreys of the New Jersey Superior Court.

Mr. Comerford is admitted to practice law in three jurisdictions: New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia. He received a juris doctor degree from the Washington College of Law at The American University in 1998; a masters of Public Administration degree from the George Washington University in 1995; and completed his undergraduate studies majoring with honors in history at Colgate University in 1993.
