Weitz & Luxenberg’s efforts to help residents and business owners in Oklahoma affected by human-made earthquakes took an important step forward recently when a judge…Read More
Fighting for our clients is the most satisfying aspect of what we do at Weitz & Luxenberg. Our clients are people who did nothing but work hard to earn a living and, as a result of their dedication to their respective jobs or occupations, they were poisoned. Many of our clients come from the same generation as my grandparents. That’s a rugged and strong generation of people, and to see them suffer rather than be rewarded for their years of hard work is devastating; it’s a real motivator for me.
We knew that Lindsay Decicco would be a perfect attorney to help the victims of asbestos. She is caring, conscientious and courageous. We recognized those qualities in her even before she became an attorney. It is why we invited her to join us well in advance of completion of law school in 2013.
The juris doctor degree she received that year was conferred on her by New York Law School. While there, she distinguished herself academically to such an enviable extent that she was appointed during her first year of studies to be a teaching assistant. In that role, Ms. Decicco was responsible for helping her fellow students understand and apply contract-law principles and for showing them how to write well-reasoned, correctly articulated legal arguments and analyses.
She entered New York Law School as a Presidential Scholar, an honor accorded her on the basis of a stellar academic record and an equally stellar Law School Admission Test score.
That impressive scholastic record was achieved in part from her years as an undergraduate student at Fordham University. She graduated from Fordham in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and a minor in political science. Her grades were so high that, during her junior year, the school offered her a place in one of its accelerated master’s degree programs — she opted instead for law school.
Ms. Decicco currently is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. She is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
Lindsay Decicco will be happy to review your case.
