I have the most satisfying job of anyone I know because the people I get to represent are truly the salt of the earth. Most of them were simply going about living their lives and providing for their families when – through no fault of their own – they were exposed to asbestos. Worse, for the sake of profits, the companies responsible for that exposure failed to give warning or do anything to protect anyone. My job as an attorney is to make these companies pay for their wrongs and provide justice for my clients and their families. It’s never easy, but always satisfying.

Leonard Sandoval is an integral part of the Weitz & Luxenberg personal injury litigation team. He handles all aspects of cases, from initial meeting with the client to the conclusion of trial.

Throughout his law career, Mr. Sandoval has represented a variety of clients. These include musicians, record labels, government entities and individuals suffering from catastrophic injuries.

Mr. Sandoval joined W&L in 2011, not long after being admitted to practice law in California. Since then, he has also been admitted to practice in U.S. District Court for California’s Central District and before the Ninth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals.

In 2010, Mr. Sandoval — who first became intent on a career in law at age 6 — earned a juris doctor degree from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. During his second year there, he served as a board member of La Raza Law Students Association. During his third year, he won election as president of the Student Bar Association. A native of the Golden State and the first member of his family to go to college, Mr. Sandoval earlier graduated from California State University, Fullerton, where he obtained a bachelor of arts degree in sociology.

Today, when away from the office, Mr. Sandoval writes music, plays guitar, tries his hand at cooking cuisine from all over the world and enjoys quiet time at home with his wife and three dogs.
