Rola Khanafer is an attorney working on the opioid litigation team. Ms. Khanafer received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and philosophy from Wayne State University and later, her J. D. from The George Washington University Law School.

Prior to joining Weitz & Luxenberg, Ms. Khanafer worked on commercial and real estate litigation, where she gained valuable advocacy experience.

During law school, she interned with the United States Attorney’s Office and the United States Senate, Homeland Security of Governmental Affairs Committee in the Federal Spending Oversight and Emergency Management Subcommittee. Ms. Khanafer was also involved in the International Refugee Assistance Program, International Law in Domestic Courts Journal, and the Public Justice Advocacy Clinic at George Washington University.
