Ellen Relkin will be presenting on Xarelto Case Selection and Criteria at the upcoming HarrisMartin MDL Conference: Xarelto, Morcellators and Emerging Torts.
She will discuss the criteria to consider for accepting cases, as well as the bases for pursuing this litigation against a manufacturer who has created a medication that puts patients at untoward risk of severe bleeding incidents.
Relkin has recently been named to the Xarelto Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee (PSC) and co-chair of the Bellwether Sub-Committee of the Multi-District Litigation. This committee was appointed by the MDL Judge Fallon to manage the centralized lawsuit against the manufacturer.
She joins a prestigious panel of litigators who will discuss the science, liability and litigation issues for a number of medical devices and drugs, including power morcellators and low testosterone products.
The conference will be held at The Westin San Diego at 400 W. Broadway in San Diego, California on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Get more information about HarrisMartin’s MDL Conference.
