He continues, “We are a firm dedicated to helping families get the justice they deserve. These eleven people demonstrate the excellence we deliver and are our future stars in all respects.”

Mr. Luxenberg noted attorneys from the firm consistently appear in national rankings of superior attorneys. “This is why we are able to secure strong settlements and large verdicts for our clients,” he adds.

Selection Process and Qualifications

Attorneys listed by Super Lawyers are evaluated on a dozen indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. “The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.” (1)

In order to be considered for Rising Stars the attorney must either be 40 years of age, or younger, or have been practicing for 10 years or less.

Names are submitted to the Super Lawyers organization by other attorneys. Their qualifications are reviewed by a peer committee and then voted on.

This is the same process that is used to select Super Lawyers. While up to 5% of the attorneys in the state can be named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5% are named to Rising Stars; making this a very select group.

The four women named as Rising Stars — Ms. Gold, Ms. Miller, Ms. Russell, and Ms. Weitz — were also listed in the Super Lawyers Women’s Edition, giving special attention to female attorneys.
