WHO: Weitz & Luxenberg P.C.
WHAT: Weitz & Luxenberg and Levin Papantonio environmental attorneys invite business owners and employees of hotels, restaurants, and commercial fishing operations, and others facing financial loss caused by the BP oil spill, to register to attend one of our meetings scheduled throughout Florida.
These briefings, hosted by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA), will feature important information about your legal options and how to calculate financial losses due to the oil spill. Our attorneys will be on-hand to answer questions about submitting BP oil claims to the Gulf Coast Compensation Fund and address other related issues.
In addition to these in-person meetings, Robin Greenwald, the head of the Weitz & Luxenberg Environmental and Toxic Torts unit and Brian Barr, the head of Levin Papantonio’s environmental unit, will host several Webinars on how to determine if you have a valid claim and ensure your claim will be given the attention it deserves.
“This environmental disaster has caused severe economic hardship for the hospitality industry throughout the Gulf, the Gulf coast commercial seafood industry and other small-business owners and employees who depend upon the tourism industry to earn their living,” said Greenwald, adding, “regardless of whether your area has been spoiled physically by oil on the beaches or in the air, you have been harmed by the actions of BP and others and deserve to be justly compensated.”
To register for a Webinar or meeting, please visit the FRLA website. Those affected by the BP oil spill disaster may also discuss their situation and get a free legal review.
