Weitz & Luxenberg has been named as one of the “Best Law Firms” in America in the 2020 Edition of U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” ranking.
Weitz & Luxenberg was recognized as National Tier 1 “Best Law Firm” for Mass Tort Litigation and Class Actions, as well as a Metropolitan Tier 1 firm in New York City and New Jersey for plaintiff related mass tort and class action cases. W&L was also recognized as a Tier 1 firm in New York City for Personal Injury Litigation.

The “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on a combination of client feedback, information from surveys and peer reviews, and the votes of participating firms and clients across the country. The 2020 edition saw 16,000 lawyers and 12,000 clients participate, the highest number of votes in the rankings’10-year history.
Of the 14,931 firms across 75 national practice areas that underwent a rigorous review process, only 2,106 received a national law firm ranking. The national ranking is the highest level of recognition a firm can receive from other lawyers for excellence in a practice area, and signals a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise.
In order to receive a “Best Law Firms” ranking, a firm must first have at least one of its lawyers listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” rankings, which recognizes the top 5% of private practicing lawyers in the U.S. Ten Weitz & Luxenberg lawyers have previously received this honor.
The national and regional Tier 1 rankings will be featured in the print edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.” It was distributed to more than 30,000 in-house counsel and in digital format to more than 60,000 private practice lawyers worldwide.
