Biography

Weitz & Luxenberg’s attorneys and team are brilliant, and I feel privileged to work with such a talented, dedicated group of people. The work we do is meaningful. Our efforts to hold reckless, negligent corporations accountable has a huge impact on our clients and the world around us. And as a national firm, we have what it takes to help thousands of people from all different backgrounds and walks of life who might just have one thing in common: They were harmed by the abusive actions of others.

Chantal Khalil Levy is an experienced, knowledgeable member of our team of Environmental, Toxic Torts, and Consumer Protection litigators. Ms. Khalil Levy is a passionate advocate for justice and equality. She has dedicated her career to fighting for marginalized individuals, as well as holding large corporations and governmental entities accountable for their unlawful actions.

Ms. Khalil Levy began taking classes delving into constitutional law and the Supreme Court at a young age, and her interest in fighting on behalf of oppressed and mistreated individuals only grew with time.

“By high school, I knew,” Ms. Khalil Levy recounts. “We learned about how people were being treated unfairly in this country and what can happen when the government or another powerful entity abuses its power. Victims typically don’t have the power or resources to challenge and redress the harms they’ve suffered. I knew I wanted to stand up for those victims and give them a voice.”

Litigating to Fight Injustices

Ms. Khalil Levy emphasizes, “Companies have responsibilities to their consumers and to the general public. Unfortunately, it is all too common for companies to prioritize their profits above the well-being of consumers and society. This exploitation can take many forms, including deceptive representations, fraudulent omissions, and failure to take proper safety and security precautions. Over the course of my career, I have seen firsthand how companies often take advantage of unsuspecting individuals in order to maximize their revenues. This behavior is not only unethical, but it is also illegal. I’m dedicated to holding these companies accountable when they fail to satisfy their obligations.”

“Everyone deserves to be treated with fairness, dignity, and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances. Litigation is the most effective and efficient way to fight injustices,” Ms. Khalil Levy explains. “I am committed to utilizing the law as a tool to level the playing field and achieve justice for those who have been wronged. By challenging misconduct in open court, we can rectify the harms suffered by our clients and prevent similar injustices from occurring in the future, thereby bringing about lasting changes that helps everyone. I’m honored to be part of WL’s efforts to hold reckless and exploitative companies accountable.”

Guiding Goal Is to Let Clients Tell Your Story

“Victims often feel unseen, unheard, and helpless, and as though they lack the resources to achieve recourse,” Ms. Khalil Levy points out.

“As an attorney, it is my goal to make sure that the voices of victims are not only heard, but also taken seriously,” explains Ms. Khalil Levy. “It is my mission to ensure that those who have been wronged are given a platform to tell their story and seek justice.”

Ms. Khalil Levy understands that the legal process can be intimidating and overwhelming for those who have already experienced trauma. That is why she works tirelessly to provide compassionate and personalized representation to each and every one of her clients.

“I believe that every person has the right to be treated with respect and dignity, and to have their experiences validated and acknowledged. It is my honor to stand alongside my clients on their journey towards healing and justice.”
