Super Lawyers, a respected national attorney rating service, has released its 2025 list of top attorneys for the New York Metro Area. Weitz & Luxenberg proudly announces that a number of our attorneys have been named to this list as either Super Lawyers or Rising Stars.
Over the last nearly 40 years, Weitz & Luxenberg has emerged as one of the largest plaintiff law firms in New York — with some of the best legal talent to be found anywhere in the country. Headquartered in New York City, our firm also has an East Coast office in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Other W&L offices include Los Angeles and Detroit.
Our winning personal injury record here in NY underscores our commitment to our clients, even as it demonstrates how vigorously we will fight for their rights.
“Weitz & Luxenberg attorneys consistently prove we know how to win for our clients. This can only happen with a team of resourceful, dedicated, and talented attorneys. I am deeply honored to work alongside this caliber of legal professionals,” says the firm’s managing attorney, Gary Klein. Mr. Klein is responsible for all day-to-day operations and has been with the firm since 1988.

Super Lawyers Selection Process
Attorneys are selected annually, by state, using “peer nominations and evaluations combined with independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement,” says Super Lawyers. (1)
Super Lawyers also explains that candidates are grouped by four firm-size categories. This ensures that large firm lawyers are compared with lawyers at firms of like size, while small and solo firm lawyers are compared with lawyers at similar firm size. (2)
