A few bad apples are the real problem — there’s just no excuse. I’m glad we’re in a position to help our clients. I look forward to hearing from them over the years after we’ve obtained for them some measure of justice — just to hear how they are getting along.
Allan Zelikovic, Esq., heads our Medical Malpractice and Pelvic Mesh/Transvaginal Mesh units. His work on more than 1,000 lawsuits dealing with issues of substandard medical care and dangerous drugs or devices testifies to the extensiveness of his experience. Many of those cases involved injuries — some fatal — sustained during obstetrical deliveries, surgical procedures and emergency-room treatment.
A nationally prominent lecturer on discovery techniques and on medical malpractice and defective drug/device litigation issues, Mr. Zelikovic is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western New York jurisdictions of U.S. District Court.
He has been with Weitz & Luxenberg since 1990. Prior to that time, he worked for the law firm Lipsig Sullivan & Liapakis. While there, Mr. Zelikovic served on the plaintiffs’ steering committee in a mass-tort litigation pertaining to DES (diethylstilbestrol) — a role he continued after joining Weitz & Luxenberg.
Born in Montreal, Canada, Mr. Zelikovic is a 1982 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law and a graduate with honors of McGill University.
