From the start, I was impressed with Weitz & Luxenberg. It is a large firm, but our attorneys develop close, trusting relationships with our clients. We get to know our clients, so we can most effectively tell their story.”
Ahmed M. El Bialy is an associate attorney in Weitz & Luxenberg’s Mesothelioma and Asbestos Practice Group working out of our Cherry Hill, New Jersey office. He is one of our trial attorneys who enjoys presenting his case in a courtroom and arguing before a jury.
Weitz & Luxenberg is delighted to have Mr. El Bialy as part of our team of litigators dedicated to representing victims of asbestos exposure. He brings years of litigation experience, including extensive trial work, appellate advocacy, and client-centered representation.
Exploring Every Avenue for the Best Outcome
Most recently, Mr. El Bialy served as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender in Cumberland County from November 2022 to September 2025. Managing an active caseload of approximately 250 clients, he represented individuals charged with offenses ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree homicide.
His representation extended from the first client meeting through final resolution. Sometimes, that meant arguing multiweek motions, negotiating favorable agreements, or trying months-long jury trials that often resulted in acquittals. He also handled appellate matters and clemency applications, ensuring his clients’ rights were vigorously protected at every stage of litigation.
Telling the Client’s Story
At the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. El Bialy took a hands-on approach to investigation and advocacy. He personally surveyed crime scenes with investigators, visited clients’ neighborhoods and homes, and developed strong relationships with their families.
By gathering information firsthand, he gained a deep understanding of each client’s life and case. Through this intensive groundwork, he crafted the most effective strategies and persuasive arguments. And this is the commitment and dedication he now brings to his practice on behalf of asbestos exposure and mesothelioma clients at Weitz & Luxenberg.
