Weitz & Luxenberg has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers magazine as one of the Best Law Firms in the country for 2021.
The organization’s rankings were based on the highest recorded participation from attorneys and law firms. The groups report incorporating more than 8 million evaluations. More than 110,000 attorneys from more than 22,000 firms were involved.
W&L Ranked in Tier 1
U.S. News & World Report evaluates firms based on the different types of litigation being practiced. Weitz & Luxenberg was ranked at the top in several different categories:

The law firm rankings from U.S. News & World Reports are grouped into three tiers. These include a national level and consideration by regions of the country. Earning a “tier” designation illustrates the highest level of respect.
This respect is earned from peers in the field – including other leading attorneys and clients that are in the same communities and the same practice areas of the law. Best Lawyers recognized firms in 75 national and more than 125 metropolitan practice areas.
Thousands of Attorneys Evaluated; Small Percent Chosen
Recently, U.S. News & World Report also named respected W&L attorneys to their list of Best Lawyers. This is the 10th edition of this list and is based on a review of evaluations from clients and other attorneys.
To be eligible for consideration for ranking as a Best Law Firm, the firm must have at least one attorney practicing in that area of litigation listed as the Best Lawyer for the region or metro area. W&L has eight of our attorneys recognized in this year’s report. Five of these attorneys were also listed in last year’s report.

The attorneys considered were evaluated on such categories as their responsiveness, their legal skill, and their integrity. The clients doing the evaluations were also asked if they would use the attorney again or if they would refer someone else to that attorney.
